The Hall of Celebration, situated at the head of Cabarita Park and facing the water, is designed in consideration with the local community to act as a space to hold private events whilst providing comfort to the public. A large north facing main function room, which adjoins a louvered external deck is a place filled with light, prefect for the celebration of weddings, birthdays, baby blessings, anniversaries, etc. The design of the building employs a range of passive design strategies to maintain thermal comfort - considering sustainable methods of heating, cooling, ventilation, and lighting and eliminating the need for auxiliary heating and cooling.
